Join us for an informative session on grantmaking presented by Peter Hoppe, and an opportunity to ask our DCF Grants Committee questions regarding our application. This session is free to the first 50 registrants. DCF is grateful to Deer Creek Golf & Banquet Facility for donating the space for the session.
Peter Hoppe is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) with 30 years of charitable sector leadership experience both as a senior executive with three major charities, and more recently, as a consultant helping over 100 organizations maximize potential through innovation, growth and diversification. He is also seasoned in many areas of non-profit management and fund development including: strategic planning, individual giving, preparing grant proposals, navigating major online funding applications, and developing communications essential to marketing and fundraising. He also teaches at Seneca College and Humber College in their respective Non-Profit Fundraising and Management Graduate Certificate programs.
Peter enjoys volunteering his time and expertise as a speaker and educator on various topics, and has presented at numerous conferences. He recently served on the Association of Fundraising Professionals (Greater Toronto Chapter) Board of Directors and currently serves on the AFP Golden Horeshoe Chapter Board of Directors, the Durham Community Foundation Grants Selection Committee and its Philanthropy Forum Committee.
But Peter is not all about fundraising and teaching. His current life passion is spending time with his 20-month old grandson Benjamin.
